What to expect at your first visit

We know that visiting a new provider can bring questions. We want to make your first appointment as smooth and comfortable as possible. Here's a quick overview of what to expect.

Before your appointment

• Bring your insurance card and a valid photo ID.
• Bring a list of current medications, including dosages and supplements.
• Write down any questions you'd like to discuss with your provider.
• Arrive 15 minutes early to complete any remaining paperwork.

During your visit

Your provider will review your medical history, discuss any current concerns, and perform a basic health assessment. This is your time — feel free to ask questions, share worries, or bring up anything that's on your mind. There's no such thing as a concern too small.

After your visit

You'll receive a summary of your visit through the patient portal. If your provider orders any tests or referrals, our care team will follow up to help you schedule them. You can also message your provider directly through the portal with follow-up questions.
